Practice partner from ICLEI Africa

Jokudu is a young urbanist with a keen interest in urban development in African cities. Her core areas of focus include Circularity in African cities, Food-Water-Energy Nexus and urban development. As an ICLEI Africa officer, she has engaged with African local governments on circular economy projects offering tools to discover opportunities for adoption and implementation of circular economy principles. She has contributed to knowledge products including a catalogue on circular economy ideas, supported the development of articles on circular economy opportunities, as well as a program for governing food-water-energy nexus in cities, and program on the guidance on urban development control in Tanzania.
