I am a PhD Researcher from the Institute of Social Development (ISD) at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). My research looks at the socioeconomic feasibility of wastewater recycling technology in the Philippi Horticultural Area (PHA) and the Lynedoch Eco Village. My research is supervised by Professor Amiena Bayat. In addition, I possess a Master’s Degree in Economics, an Honours Degree in Economics, and a BCom Degree Summa Cum Laude. I have obtained all these qualifications at the University of the Western Cape. Furthermore, I have worked as an Economics Lecturer, Facilitator, Consultant, Fund Accountant, and as a Retail Investments Administrator.

My research look at the socioeconomic feasibility of wastewater recycling into a WEF nexus framework in the Philippi Horticultural Area (PHA) and the Lynedoch Eco Village. My research aims to determine the feasibility of implementing wastewater recycling technology in the PHA, and also improving the current system at the Lynedoch Eco Village.
